Xiang Fei
Yuefu Shiji, Folio 57, #6 - 9
湘妃

Yuefu Shiji, Folio 57, #6 to #9 (p. 825/6), has poems connected to the story of the two daughters of Yao lamenting their husband, Shun. None of these is used as lyrics for the popular qin song Xiang Fei Yuan.

The prefaces are all with the first set, #6, as follows.

  1. Shan Hai Jing (p.???)

  3. Liu Xiang, Lienü Zhuan

  4. 湘中記 Xiangzhong Ji Account from the Xiang River (18223.10xxx)

  5. Han Yu, Huangling Miao Pai (extended commentary, but no mention of qin).

  6. Guo Maoqian ("Qin Cao says there are the melodies 湘妃怨 Xiangfei Yuan and 湘夫人 Xiang Furen.")
